Pecularities of health service in Livny District

 

Livny is a district centre with the population of over 51, 000 people..In our district is created the wide network of various treatment-and-prophylactic establishments for rendering medical aid to the population. On their functions and tasks they are divided into different establishments.

The District Health Service includes the Сentral District Hospital, polyclinics for the adult population and for children., two district hospitals, threeambulance stations and forty –one feldsher-obstetric stations. The multi-field hospital, the Mother–and- Child Health Care establishments, tubercu­losis dispensary, narcological dispensary, station of the emergency medical help and AIDS laboratory form parts of frame work of the Сentral District Hospital organization.

Polyclinic and ambulance stations are treatment-and-prophylactic establishments intended for rendering of medical aid to patients, for examination and treatment of patients in domestic conditions. Ambulant patients are seen at the policlinic and ambulance stations by the district doctors of general practice All doctors of general practice take part in the Family Doctor System. Health Service doctors are paid by the government. The pay depends on the number of patients they have served every month.

In a polyclinic work doctors of a various types (surgeons, oculists, otolaryngologists, cardiologists, etc.) and also functionate diagnostic cabinets (X-ray room, cabinets of functional diagnostics), laboratory, physiotherapeutic department, treatment room)

Our hospital is a multi-field hospital.Here there is an emergency medical aid, and also the help to patients for whom constant supervision is necessary. It consists of different hospital departments (surgical, therapeutic, infectious, cardiologica l. etc.) Different types of doctors work at a hospital (therapeutists, surgeons, traumatologist, oculists,cardiologists, etc.),

Female consultation and maternity hospital belong to establishments of protection of Motherhood and the childhood. Here are carried out prophylactic medical examination, revealed and treated women with gynecologic diseases, and also supervision over pregnant women is conducted here. The personnel of female consultations and maternity hospitals carries out the big sanitary - educational work with pregnant women.

The emergency ambulance service operates day and night rendering of emergency medical aid to patients at a pre-hospital stage at all conditions menacing to a life (traumas, wounds, poisoning,, bleeding), and also at labor. At stations of the emergency medical help the personnel works as brigades, consisting of 2-3 person (the doctor and one or two medical assistants). Nurses can work only as a dispatcher, taking calls from the population and transmitting them to exit brigades.

Some words must be said about prophylaxis. One of the most important task in the fight against different diseases is the early detection of the first signs of the disease. ¹⁷ Peri­odical medical examinations are practised in our district. Thousands of healthy people regularly undergo medical examinations.

We pay much attention to the popularization of medical science among the population. We believe that one of the main available methods of preventing the spread of diseases is health education. The press, cinema, radio and television are very helpful for this purpose.

Для оказания медицинской помощи населению в нашем районе создана широкая сеть различных лечебно-профилакти­ческих учреждений. По своим функциям и задачам они делятся на различные учреждения. Система здравоохранения Ливенского района включает ЦРБ, два поликлинических учреждения;(детское и взрослое), две районные больницы, три амбулатории, 41 фельдшерско-акушерский пкнкт. В структуру ЦРБ входят: многопрофильная больница, учреждения по охране материнства и детсва, тубдис­пансер; станция скорой медицинской помощи; ВИЧ- лаборотория. Лечебно-профилактические учреждения поликлинического типа - это поликлиники и амбулатории.. В поликлинике ведут прием врачи различного профиля (те­рапевты, хирурги, окулисты, отоларингологи, кардиологи и др.), а также функционируют диагностические кабинеты,физиотерапевтическое отделение, проце­дурный кабинет.. Амбулаторные пациенты осматриваются в поликлинике участковым врачом.общей практики. Все врачи общей практики работают в системе семейной медицины.

. Служба скорой по­мощи работает круглосуточно. На станциях ско­рой медицинской помощи персонал работает бригадами, со­стоящими из 2-3 человек (врач й один или два фельдшера). Персонал женских консультаций и родильных домов проводит большую санитарно-просветительную работу с беременны­ми.
