III. “My family”.

Hello, friends it’s me again. Now I want to tell you a few words about my family. My family is large. I have a mother, a father, a brother, a sister and my grandparents.

First of all about my parents.

My mother’s name is Marina. She is forty-eight, but she looks much younger. Her birthday is on the 2nd of July. She is a housewife. She has a lot of work to do about the house. My mother is very good at cooking. My father Marat is fifty-one and so he is three years older than my mother. He works at a big automobile plant as an engineer.

My father’s name is Marat. My father is handy with many things. By character my father is modest, cheerful and a well-bred man. He often sings and when we have free time, I play the guitar and we sing together.

My parents have much in common, but they have different views on music, books, films, and sport. For example, my father likes horror films and my mother likes “soap operas”. My father is fond of tennis and my mother doesn’t go in for sport. But my parents have the same opinion about children’s education and upbringing. My parents are hard-working people.

My sister’s name is Aisha. She is 25. She is married. She is an accountant. My brother-in-law Askhat is a lawyer. They work in a small business company. They’ve got twins: a son and a daughter. Their son Aset is my nephew and Assel is my niece. They go to nursery school.

My brother Arsen is eleven. He is six years younger than me. He is a pupil of the 5th form. He does well at school and gets only good and excellent marks.

Our family is very united. We like to spend time together. In the evenings we watch TV, read books and newspapers or just discuss everyday problems. We often go to the village to see our grandparents. They are on pension now and they prefer to live in the village.

We have many relatives: uncles, aunts, cousins. It’s nice to have a good family. We are deeply attached to each other and we get on very well.
