Исцеляющие шаги, которые можно предпринять сейчас. Вас, возможно, слегка ошеломило всё то, чем мы только что здесь с вами поделились. Это нормально. Это значит, что у вас достаточно смелости, чтобы честно посмотреть в зеркало и разглядеть возможности для роста. Вы способны двигаться вперед, оставив прошлое позади, и вырабатывать у себя новые, более здоровые привычки. Вам понадобится лишь готовность работать над собой и открывать себя новым перспективам. Чем более надежным будет становиться ваш стиль привязанности, тем глубже и богаче будут ваши отношения и тем большее исцеление вашему ребенку вы сможете обеспечить.

 

В следующих разделах содержатся дополнительные шаги, которые вам следует предпринять на пути к росту. Эти шаги помогут вам взрастить ваш собственный дух наравне с духом вашего ребенка.

 

Разморозьте свои чувства. Если вы выросли в жестоком, грубом или свирепом домашнем окружении, вы, возможно, выжили, делая вид, что вам всё равно и что вас не ранит происходящее в вашем доме. Это эффективная стратегия во время кризиса, но подавление чувств на протяжении длительного времени превращается в укоренившуюся контрпродуктивную привычку. Непризнанные эмоции становятся причиняющими неудобство призраками, которые двигают вами, душат ваше сердце и оставляют в вас чувство досады и нетерпимости.

Как правило люди, испытывающие неловкость с чувствами, выбирают карьеру, которая фокусируется на интеллектуальных достижениях или базируется на жесткой системе правил. Такие взрослые могут быть весьма успешными лидерами в своих сообществах и целеустремленно добиваться больших успехов в бизнесе. Однако, привычка к подавлению эмоций также может затруднить для них понимание других людей и установление связей с ними, особенно когда речь идет о трудных детях, которых преследует их собственное прошлое и чьи способности ограничены неврологическими нарушениями.

Скажите, вы боитесь признать разочарование? Боль? Грусть? Если у вас вошло в привычку подавление своих собственных эмоций, настала пора ослабить эту твердую позицию. Потренируйтесь идентифицировать и уважительно проговаривать чувства, которые вы испытываете по отношению к себе и окружающим. Каждый раз, когда у вас получается идентифицировать и подобающим образом выразить свои эмоции, вы делаете шаг вперед на пути к исцелению. Когда родитель моделирует способность знать и принимать личные чувства, его ребенку становится гораздо легче исцелиться и разобраться со своими эмоциями.

Освободитесь из железной хватки перфекционизма. Перфекционизм бросает нас на поиски недостижимого стандарта. Так мы можем сделать себя несчастными. Перфекционисты всегда заняты тем, что тащат тяжкий груз своих ожиданий в крутую гору, и никогда не останавливаются на достаточно долгое время, чтобы полюбоваться открывшимся видом. Это нормально, если ваши дети не одеты безупречно или не являются юными дарованиями. Запомните, что никто пока еще не умер от того, что его одежда не была идеально подобрана, и что отличная успеваемость в учебе не гарантируют счастья. Возрадуйтесь тем успехам, которые уже есть перед вами, и простите себя и своего ребенка за несовершенство.

 

Вы драгоценны и изумительны, и ваши дети тоже. Каждый день работайте над тем, чтобы по достоинству ценить присущее от рождения чудо ваших уникальных интересов, талантов и радостей.

 

Будьте отзывчивы к нуждам и потребностям. Все дети нуждаются в поддержке. Природа сделала так, что они зависят от взрослых на протяжении более десяти лет своей жизни. В случае приемных детей эта потребность в поддержке еще больше увеличена. Дети, попавшие к вам из тяжелых жизненных условий, требуют дополнительной любви и внимания вследствие дней, недель, месяцев недостаточной заботы на критических этапах ранней жизни. Если у вас есть предвзятое представление о том, какой уровень потребностей является допустимым, вы можете подсознательно или осознанно возмущаться вашим ребенком, устанавливая барьер на пути к теплу и близости.

 

Как вы сами относитесь к потребности в поддержке? Начинаете ли вы подсознательно злиться, когда замечаете эту потребность в ком-то другом? Было ли такое, что ваши нужды не учитывались, когда вы были маленьким ребенком? Тяжело ли вам признавать ваши собственные потребности сейчас? Всё это важные вопросы, над которыми стоит подумать.

Когда вы принимаете нужды и потребности ребенка и реагируете на них, это помогает ему почувствовать свое принятие и воодушевляет его, и формирует капитальный счет доверия. И точно таким же образом, адресуя свои собственные нужды и потребности (насколько это допустимо в рамках приоритетов родительства), вы можете уменьшить свой стресс и то возмущение, которое вы чувствуете по поводу текущих нужд вашего ребенка. Очень важно найти способы восстанавливать свое тело и дух.

 

Не стесняйтесь прикосновений. Безопасные прикосновения терапевтичны — не только для детей, но и для взрослых тоже. Может статься, вы всё это время подсознательно или непреднамеренно лишали себя радости прикосновений. Приложите сознательные усилия, чтобы здоровыми, приемлемыми способами увеличить количество объятий и прикосновений — с вашими детьми или супругом. Мужья и жены могут в профилактических целях включить это в свою повседневную жизнь в виде массажа ступней, рук или спины перед сном.

Массаж не только расслабляет, он улучшает биохимию вашего мозга. Исследованиями установлено, что массаж сокращает уровень маркера стресса кортизола на 30 процентов. Он также повышает количество двух важных нейротрансмиттеров, серотонина и дофамина, в среднем на 28 и 31 процент соответственно. Здоровые прикосновения улучшают ваше самочувствие!

 

Наполните опустевший сосуд. Многие из родителей, приходящих к нам за помощью, страдают от эмоционального и физического истощения. Они выглядят так, как будто у них перегорели предохранители. Совладание с детьми из группы риска на протяжении длительного времени подточило их системы социальной, семейной и материальной поддержки. Все уже устали, ресурсы сократились, и поэтому трудности кажутся бóльшими, чем на самом деле.

Говоря о базовом физиологическом уровне, родителям требуется восстановиться. Это существенно для благополучия всей семьи. Не наполнив вновь свой опустевший сосуд, вы по сути не сможете обеспечить исцеление вашим детям.

 

Вот простое упражнение по подавлению стресса, которое вы можете выполнить прямо сейчас. Проверьте свои плечи. Они некомфортно ссутулены? Мышцы напряжены так, что плечи торчат слишком высоко? Целенаправленно уроните ваши плечи, давая им расслабиться и соскользнуть вниз, в то же время сами сядьте более прямо. Сделайте длинный, глубокий вдох и медленно выдохните. Сделайте по меньшей мере три глубоких вдоха и медленных выдоха. Продолжайте ослаблять свои плечи. Выполняйте эту процедуру несколько раз в день, чтобы разрядить свой стресс.

 

Ниже приводятся дополнительные меры, которые мы рекомендуем вам принять, чтобы начать восстановление своих сил.

 

· Займитесь физическими упражнениями — и начните сегодня же! Даже пятнадцатиминутная пешая прогулка снизит ваш стресс и уровень кортизола.

· Ежедневно принимайте мультивитамины и минеральные добавки.

· Ежедневно принимайте капсулу рыбьего жира.

· Перестройте свое расписание так, чтобы вы могли побольше спать.

· Избегайте сладких напитков и закусок, которые обрушивают уровень сахара в вашей крови.

· Постарайтесь сократить потребление кофеина.

· Посидите тихо и послушайте расслабляющую или медитационную музыку.

· Побольше обнимайтесь и давайте обнимать себя.

· Делайте и получайте массаж или растирание ступней.

· Проявляйте творческий подход в изыскании поводов для смеха.

· Старайтесь выделять время для игр и веселья.

· Выделите время для интимного общения с супругом.

· Ищите душевный комфорт, в любой наиболее приемлемой для вас манере.

· Попросите надежного друга или члена семьи посидеть с вашим ребенком, чтобы вы могли провести вечер без него. (Вам может понадобиться обучить кого-нибудь, как заботиться о вашем ребенке, или скооперироваться с другими родителями и организовать обмен.)

 

Двигаясь вперед. Если вам не удается достучаться до вашего ребенка так скоро, как вам хотелось бы, не корите себя. Как мы уже говорили раньше, овладение любым новым навыком требует времени. Вы оба — вы и ваш ребенок — учитесь вместе. Аналогия, которая приходит на ум: вас и вашего ребенка попросили объединиться и исполнить вдвоем незнакомый танец. Оба партнера испытывают трудности с тем, чтобы наблюдать, координироваться и разучивать новые движения. Это совместный процесс, который, по мере тренировки, будет вскоре казаться не требующим усилий.

Будьте терпеливы к себе и к своему ребенку по мере разучивания новых движений. Аплодируйте себе за то, что имеете смелость и мужество нести исцеление и любовь ребенку, который так в вас нуждается. Учитесь праздновать маленькие успехи и видеть ежедневные чудеса.
