Личные и притяжательные местоимения

 

Задание 1. Замените существительные личными местоимениями в именительном падеже или объектном.

Образец: Peter is an engineer. He is an engineer.

Give the book to your friend. Give it to him (her).
1. The teacher helped the students to translate the article.
2. Mother will send Mary to buy the tickets.
3. My friend wants to give these books to his sister.
4. These books are not interesting for children.
5. The man gives the books to the boy.
6. Peter works hard at his English.

Задание 2. Переведите на русский язык следующие предложения, содержащие притяжательные местоимения двух форм:

1. His pencil is on the table. 2. This is not my pencil, mine is blue. 3. I lost my pencil. Please give me yours. 4. This book is mine. 5. She told me yesterday about her trip (поездка) to Moscow. 6. This is my book and that is yours.

Задание 3. Заполните пропуски личными местоимениями в нужном падеже или соответствующей формой притяжательных местоимений.

Образец: I often speak English with (она) and with (её) children.

I often speak English with her and with her children.

Задание 4. Какое личное или притяжательное местоимение вы употребили бы при переводе на английский язык следующих предложений.

1. Он потерял мою ручку и дал мне свою. 2. Дайте им свой словарь, они оставили свой дома. 3. Эти места не ваши, это их места. 4. Эта книга не похожа на твою, это, должно быть, моя книга. 5. Я прочту вам свой перевод, а вы прочтите мне свой.

 

Степени сравнения имен прилагательных и наречий.

Задание 1. Повторите за диктором и переведите на русский язык.

1. long – longer – the longest; short – shorter – the shortest; big – bigger – the biggest;
2. interesting – more interesting – the most interesting; difficult – more difficult – the most difficult; serious – more serious – the most serious;
3. good – better – the best; bad – worse – the worst; little – less – the least; much – more – the most; many – more – the most; far – farther (further) – the farthest (the furthest).

Задание 2. Повторите за диктором и переведите на русский язык.

1. Kiev is the largest city in Ukraine. 2. It is the most interesting and difficult problem. 3. He is the best student in this group. 4. This is the most beautiful picture of his collection. 5. The coldest days are in winter. 6. His report is the most interesting. 7. A molecule is the smallest part of a substance.

Задание 3. Повторите за диктором и переведите на русский язык.

Помните, что than – означает чем; as … as – такой… как; not so as – не такой как.

1. Her room is larger than ours. 2. In summer the days are longer than in winter. 3. This street is as wide as that one. 4. Winter in Moscow is as cold as in Novosibirsk. 5. This book is not so interesting as that one. 6. The temperature today is not so low as it was yesterday. 7. He is not so old as he looks.

2. Хороший - лучше - наилучший; плохой - хуже - самый плохой; много - больше - наибольший; далекий - более далекий - самый далекий.
