Beginning 5 minutes  

Organizational moment: The teacher greets pupils: Good morning, good morning, good morning to you, good morning, good morning I’m glad to see you. Please sit down, everyone. Let’s begin today’s lesson.

Warm-up:

Checking of the home task at page number 81, ex 6 and learn new words.

The teacher asks learners to read the text themselves and translate it..

Marco Polo stayed in China for three years. True or False? Ex 26

• Pupils’ books closed. Write the name

Marco Polo on the board. Ask the

pupils, in L1 if necessary, to tell you

what they know about him. Elicit

their answers and write them on the

board.

 

Teacher asks questions about Marco Polo and write down new information about Marco Polo.

Now children, stand up. Let’s do some exercises.

(P) Task 1. Open Activity book at page 82 ex 9. Read the comics in pair and translate.

(W) Task 2. Open Pupil’s book at page 60 ex 6. By read story put the sentences in the right order.

Reflection and feedback:

Teacher: Today’s home task: reat the text about Marco Polo.

Feedback.  

“Traffic light”. The teacher gives instructions to raise the green card if the lesson was easy, raise the yellow card if they liked the lesson but have some difficulties, to raise the red card if the lesson was difficult.

         The lesson was difficult.

 


          I liked the lesson but I have some 

          difficulties.

          The lesson was easy.

Pupils follow the teacher’s instructions. Then the teacher asks students who raised:

the green cards: -What was clear?

the yellow cards: - What was unclear?

the red cards: - What was difficult?

The lesson is over. Goodbye, children! See you on Friday.
