Екзотичні види транспорту для туристів

Дуже часто туристи, які приїжджають в іншу країну, постають перед вибором, на якому транспорті подорожувати. І якщо в Європі та США мандрівники традиційно беруть автомобілі на прокат, то в екзотичних країнах дуже часто така послуга просто-на-просто недоступна, та й, зрештою, до багатьох визначних пам'яток на автомобілі впритул не під'їдеш. Отож туристи змушені їздити або на громадському транспорті, або ж скористатися послугами екзотичніших засобів пересування.

Почнемо з більш-менш традиційних видів транспорту. Ось, приміром, у Гватемалі місцевою визначною пам'яткою вважаються так звані «курячі автобуси». Звідки така назва? – У цих автобусах перевозять не лише людей, але й домашніх тварин. Гватемальські «курячі автобуси» - це звичайнісінькі шкільні автобуси, привезені із США. Щоправда, місцеві умільці постаралися, розфарбувавши автобус яскравими барвами так, що оригінал неможливо впізнати.

У Португалії можна покататися на вербових санях. Натомість філіппінські умільці захоплюються мотоциклами. Однак їздити на мотоциклі по двоє - занадто велика втрата бензину. З цієї причини звичайний мотоцикл місцеві майстри удосконалили, подовживши сидіння, і тепер на одному такому транспортному засобі може вміститися від 5 до 13 осіб.
