THE FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Утворюється за допомогою дієслова to be в Future Indefinite та дієприкметника теперешнього часу основного дієслова

will + be + V-ing

a) виражає дію, що відбудеться в певний момент в майбутньому:

This time next week I`ll be on holiday. I`ll be lying on a beautiful beach.

Tomorrow at 10 o’clock I`ll be working.

б) виражає дії, що заплановані в майбутньому:

I`ll be going to the city center. Can I get you anything?

Will you be using your bicycle this evening? – No, you can take it.

PERFECT

THE PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

Утворюється за допомогою дієслова to have в Present Indefinite та дієприкметника минулого часу (Past Participle) основного дієслова

 

have, has + III форма дієслова

a) виражає закінчену дію, пов’язaну з моментом мовлення:

I haven`t got my key. I have lost it.

I cann’t remember his name. I have forgotten it.

в) вживається для вираження нової інформації:

Tom is back. He has been to Italy.

Do you know about Jim? – He’s gone to Canada.

Ow! I’ve burnt myself.

г) вживається з такими словами та словосполученнями: just (тільки що, щойно), already (вже), never….before (ніколи раніше), this is the first time (це перший раз), recently(lately) (нещодавно), yet (ще), so far (поки), ever (колись), today (сьогодні), this week (year, term, month, morning) (на цьому тижні, в цьому році, цього семестру, в цьому місяці, цього ранку), for (протягом), since (з):

 

I’ve just had lunch. This is the first time he has driven a car.

Have you just arrived? Have you ever been to Paris?

I’ve already posted it. I’ve read a lot in the last few days

Have you posted it yet? He has been ill a lot in the past few years.
