"World power" is a country which plays an important role among leading countries of the world. First of all it must be a very powerful industrial country. It should have large energy resources. It should have a nuclear weapon and strong army.. The science and technology of the country should be highly developed. It must be very strong from political point of view.

Великобритания имеет богатую историю. Британское управление по ту-ризму определило около 600 наших знаменитых исторических мест: замки, сады, памятники, соборы и т.д.

Also I would visit the Living World. You can see unique tropical butterflies, bees, giant insects and many other interesting things, which you maybe will never have an opportunity to see.

As I learn English language, I know something about this country. But I have a dream to visit Britain and to see all by my own eyes. I would like to visit Lon­don first of all. Britain is a country with rich history and I think that London, as a capital of it, is worth seeing. It has a lot of historic sites and you can see there many traditional ceremonies and customs. I think that Britain is also a very beau­tiful country

Also I would like to see the life of British teenagers to visit some schools or colleges. It would be very interesting.

I think that the felling of neighbourhood unites people. Suzi and Roy also think so. Such things as customs, traditions, languages can divide people. Differ­ences in standard of living can also divide people. But all people living in Europe don't want to look like each other. They all want to keep their identity. This iden­tity can both divide and unite them at the same time, because they can borrow something good and useful from each other.

3) Каково твое мнение по поводу объединения европейских стран в
один союз?

I think, that joining together of European countries into one union give good results for all countries. It will give more opportunities for everybody to live more comfortable and convenient. This union will make Europe to be more strong. I think that a single European currency will help to do it.

At the same time all nations should keep their own traditions and customs, their languages, their different styles of food. They all should keep their indi­viduality.

- Yes, I would.

- Yes, I visited it several times as a tourist.

- It is the country with warm climate. The sun is always shining there. There are many beautiful cities and towns with rich history.

- Yes, you are right. Of course there are difficulties as in all countries and people have the same problem as everywhere. But I like this country very much. It's very beautiful.

Ценим: деним берет свое начало с 17-го века, когда тяжелая ткань из французского города Ним была названа "Серж де Ним". "Де Ним" скоро стало деним.

Хлопок: Это слово пришло в английский язык где-то в 14 веке из Фран-ции (котон), но сами французы позаимствовали его у арабов, которые име-ли материал, называемый "котон".
