Some scientists guess that parallel universes may interact with each other. 7. Most of the sightings are stars of bright planets like the Venus, or atmospheric events. 8. Many other sightings turned out to be such objects as weather balloons, satellites, airplane lights, or flocks of birds. 9. UFO means unidentified flying objects. READING For centuries, different cultures have recorded visitors from other planets. Native Americans called them "the star people", other call them "creatures" or "visitors". In our time, thousands of people from around the world claim that they have seen these creatures. A lot of people do not want to speak about their experiences. However, we've found a witness, who is ready to tell us her story. TRUE STORY It was nine o'clock in the morning. I heard a humming. noise and suddenly the sky was filled with red light I was cleaning my bedroom window, so I saw everything from a window. A saucer-shaped object landed in my back garden. Three aliens got out. They had six arms and three heads and were dressed in uniform. Two of them walked round the garden, smelling the flowers. Then they picked some apples off the tree and tried to eat. But they didn't like them. Another alien picked a bunch of roses. Maybe they were for his wife. Finally the aliens got into the spaceship. I had never seen a UFO and I hadn't believed in it. But now I believe in aliens too. T: Scientists say there are indeed a lot of evidences of strange flying objects and they can be explained logically. Somewhere in one of the galaxies there is life. With time we'll discover new forms of life and may be will make contact with them. •
