This home-made constant drip hydroponic system uses 2 gallon buckets. Rockwool cubes are used for cloning and then transferred to the hydro stone.

These larger plants are supported and shaped using woooden stakes. Twist ties hold the stem, to the supports and are also used to pull the branches inward.

Layering wide net over the garden allows the stems to grow through the net squares and immediately receive support.

These plants which would be ungainly if not controlled, are contained using chicken wire cages. Although some of the plants have long branches the wire prevents them from stretching into their neighbors' space.

Plants in this garden were allowed to grow to 4 feet before they were forced to flower. These mostly Sativas hybrids were 8 to 10 feet tall when they finished harvesting. Because most of the light was trapped in the upper canopy the lower portions of the plant produced little yield.

This miniature forest is composed of clones that were forced to flower. They were spaced at approximately 5 per square foot and were less than a foot tall at harvest.

This plant is the victim of an extremely bad mite pest infestation. As population rises the mite start creating webs.

This is a leaf with a mite infestation. The mites use their probuses to suck out plant juices and leaving tell tale dots.

Using incompatible fertilizers created severe potassium deficiency caused by lock up and precipitation of the elements.

The plants seen on the right suffered from magnesium deficiency. When the plants on the left were treated with magnesium sulfate, they showed recovery after 2 weeks.

This is what an aphid infestation looks like. The aphids, their nymphs, and discarded skins from molts are easily identifiable and congregate on the undersite of the leaves.

The top of this leaf is showing necrotic spots where aphids have sucked out the leaves' juices.

This system originally designed for aeroponics was converted to a deep reservoir system. The pump pushes water through hoses located along the inside bottom of each large tube. Overflow water drains into the reservoir and eventually travels back to the pump.

Bottom left, an online CO2 monitoring unit keeps fraction of the second tabs on CO2 levels and opens or shut a natural gas valve (not pictured) to a CO2 generated, pictured above.

In an automatic shading system within a large greenhouse like this, plants can be forced to flower at any time. This long season variety was forced to flower during the summer using the shading technique.
