In the course of their studies the students of our department learn various subjects, namely Electrical machines, The Theory of automatic control, The circuit design, The modeling of the automatic systems, The theory of electrical gear, The transformation equipment etc.

The whole program is intended for providing a specialist with various practical skills and profound theoretical knowledge. All this enables him to work hard, to make quick and smart decisions, and in the case of necessity, to make repairs in the hazardous conditions of the sea. While keeping watch an electrical engineer is responsible for a lot of things, such as the operation of the ship electrical station, light nets, navigation and radio supply, cargo and mooring machinery service. And besides, when the emergency occurs he has to replace the other specialist.
