What do you think the appearance is more important: beauty or character?Содержание книги

The old sayings "Beauty is only skin deep" and "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" come to mind. For me I would have to say character as that is far more important than what a person looks like. I prefer a character. Sometimes you look on somebody and he/she doesn’t have a beautiful face. Then this person started to talk and everything change. This person is a very interesting, educated and you don’t think how she/ he looks like. Sometimes people with a beautiful face don’t have anything, only their face. They are boring, dull and “empty inside them”. Definitely a character at the first for me! Outer beauty is what attracts us first, but we all know, that eventually as we all age, the outer beauty changes or fades, so if we aren't in love with who the person really is on the inside, it will never turn into a lifelong relationship. The most important factor to consider while choosing a life partner is the " inner character". Beauty of course attracts you to your partner, but you are not going to live with her beauty, but her character. The inner character of a person is very difficulty to know specially when you are in love. The inner character of the parties in the relationship is the pivot on which the relationship revolves. (How important is your appearance? Although everyone wants to tf good-looking, are beautiful people always happier people? For example, must be a problem to be a really beautiful woman, because some men ma: be more interested in looking at you than talking to you. They think of you as a picture rather than a person. There are also some people who think that women who are exceptionally pretty and men who are particularly handsome must be stupid. They believe that only unattractive people can intelligent. On the other hand, no one wants to be really ugly, and have a face that nobody wants to look at; and no one wants to be plain either — that is to b neither attractive nor unattractive, and have a face that is easily forgotten. Being attractive is like being rich — it can help you find happiness, b it doesn't always make you happy. So maybe the best thing is to try to be interesting person. For interesting people have interesting faces, and interesting faces are almost always attractive.) Do you think that the saying “A beauty lives an easier life” is correct? Prove your point of view.
In some ways it does. Studies have proven attractive people have an easier time getting jobs, dates, and friends. They also tend to get more favorable reactions from people in general. I do not believe it truly makes life easier or makes them happier though. You know how you can never have enough money? Well this is the same way... That girl who you think is totally hot and perfect? Well she probably doesn't think she's all that hot. She's comparing herself to models, movie stars, and people on TV. She's pissed off because she has minor flaws and her hair doesn't do what she wants it to do. Her self-esteem may not be any better than an average person's. Also, attractive people may not be so confident in their other abilities. They may even learn to dismiss compliments people give them about their intelligent, character, or personality. 10. Do you think the appearance is important when you want to get a job? Why/Why not?
People who work need to consider how they look. Appearance does count and how you appear to others can make or break a job opportunity or your success on the job. Appearance counts all the time––from the job application, to the interview, to every day on the job. The key is to find a style that fits your particular job and type of work, makes you and others comfortable, and makes a positive statement about you. Consider your clothes, hair, skin complexion, hygiene, scent, posture, facial expression, tone of voice, and even the way you walk. Employers know that people are different. But every employee needs to understand that the work world is the place that is the least tolerant of personal differences. In the workplace, you are not just sending a non-verbal message about yourself; you are also sending one about the company. Many employers have some very specific expectations of how you should look and present yourself. In general, employers want their workers to have a fairly conservative and traditional image. Employers are thinking of their customers and how the customers will react to your appearance. These concerns will determine the expectations of your appearance and the rules or policies in the workplace.
What traits of character in your opinion do students appreciate in a teacher. First and foremost, teachers should sincerely embrace a philosphy that fosters the nurturing, protection, education and growth of the children they teach. There are many teachers who are enamored with their subject area and know their content backwards and forwards but have no business teaching it to children. Teachers require unlimited patience, compassion and perseverance. Teachers must be flexible, accepting and insightful. Teachers should model appropriate behavior in the classroom and in their personal lives. It is important for teachers to establish an environment and routine that fosters productive, respectful and inclusive relationships with students and in so doing will achieve positive results. Teachers should be able to differentiate, meaning using a variety of resources to address the wide range of knowledge, ability, levels, interests and learning styles students bring to the classroom and that address different instructional strategies. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, in my experience, when the students feel loved and cared for they will go to great lengths to please that teacher. (Different people, including experts as well as ordinary students, teachers and parents have different ideas about qualities of a good teacher. There are may different lists of qualities of a good teacher. Some most common qualities featuring in these different lists include the following. A basic love and interest in teaching. A basic desire to help the students. The teacher should be concerned not only about the studies of the student, but their total welfare. Patience to explain to students in great detail the things that appear very clear and simple to the teacher. Being able to win the confidence of students so that they take interest in learning what is being taught and persist with it even when they fail to understand how the subject being taught will be useful to them. Fairness. It is very important that the teacher is impartial in his dealing with all students. The teacher should have the same degree of concern for all his students irrespective of how good or bad a student is in studies. Irrespective of difference in any quality among student there should no favouritism. Each student should receive attention and help from the teacher according to his or her needs. Empathy. The teacher should be able to understand the feelings and emotions of the students when they are being taught. In addition the teacher should also be able to sense any other problems the students may be having outside the class. Personal conduct. The teacher should present a role model of good conduct for his or her student. Good skill in teaching method. It is important that good teaching involves not only explaining thins to students, but also listening to them. Subject knowledge. The teacher should be thorough in the knowledge of subject that is being taught.) Lifestyle “My personal lifestyle” I don’t have a particular style of life. I just try to live healthy. And although I don’t like sports, but I understand that it is necessary for a healthy life. I like to spend time with my family close friends. I like to read novels about love and watch movies. Sometimes my life seems boring to me, but I think it’s normal for everyone of us. Also I try to eat healthy food. Eating right means staying on a healthy diet. This does not mean that you cannot eat sweets or fatty foods, it just means that you should constantly keep in mind how a certain food will affect your body. One wants to always remain in control, do not gorge yourself and then skip a few meals to make up for it. Always keep things in proportion, such as maybe eating a light healthy breakfast and lunch and then allowing yourself a slightly heavier food for dinner or for snack. Remember, this does not mean that you must become a health-food nut it is simply a reminder that you should exercise some control over your food intake.
