Упражнение 1

Ответьте на вопросы, используя глаголы в скобках.

Examples: Why do you never fly?(hate)  I hate flying. ……………….

Упражнение 2

Поставьте глаголы в соответствующую форму, используя конструкцию – Ing or to + infinitive

Examples: I enjoy being (be) alone.

Составьте свои собственные предложения. Напишите любите ли вы или не любите то, что указано в скобках. Используйте один из глаголов для каждого предложения.

Тема 10. Выделение отдельных членов предложения с целью эмфазы

 

Упражнение 1.

Переведите предложения на русский язык.

 

It was Denis who told me the news.

It was in Amsterdam that I met Denis.

It was Denis I met in Amsterdam.

 

Упражнение 2.

Переведите на английский язык.

 

Именно Анна сообщила мне эту новость.

Именно в Париже я встретила Анну.

Именно Анну я встретила в Париже.

 

Упражнение 3.

Для усиления значения глагола используйте глагол «do».

 

1. Open your book, please. 2. Look at the blackboard, please. 3. Please close the door. 4. Please put that cup on this table. 5. Read Note One at home, please. 6. Copy out this text, please.  

 

Упражнение 4.

Преобразуйте предложения, заменив «please» на глагол «do».
