Инструкция по выполнению контрольных заданий

1. На титульном листе необходимо указать факультет, курс, номер группы, фамилию, имя, отчество.

2. Текст контрольной работы вначале нужно распечатать, затем грамматические выполнить задания от руки синей ручкой, разборчивым почерком.

Экзамен

К экзамену студенты I курса заочного отделения выполняют контрольную работу № 2.

 

Студенты, пропустившие практические занятия по английскому языку в период сессии по любым причинам, должны самостоятельно проработать материал, предназначенный для аудиторной работы и быть готовы выборочно выполнять любые задания из этого раздела.

 

Для этого необходимо дома самостоятельно прочитать и перевести тексты. Письменный перевод текстов не обязателен, но рекомендуем выписать в тетрадь незнакомые слова, их транскрипцию и перевод. Этим словарем можно будет пользоваться на зачете при сдаче пропущенного материала.

Экзаменационная оценка выставляется по результатам

· выполнения грамматического теста по пройденным темам

• успешной защиты контрольной работы
• устной беседы с преподавателем по пройденным грамматическим темам
•  устного высказывания по темам, указанным в задании № 7 контрольной работы (Task 7).

Содержание контрольной работы

Грамматика

Для того чтобы правильно выполнить первый раздел контрольной работы, необходимо

· усвоить указанные в контрольной работе разделы курса грамматики английского языка;

· выполнить задания контрольной работы;

· знать перевод предложений на русский язык. 

 

Чтение

Для сдачи экзамена студент должен:

· уметь правильно читать и понимать без словаря учебные тексты, изученные в течение данного семестра, а также тексты выполненных контрольных работ;

·  уметь правильно читать и переводить с помощью словаря текст средней трудности по специальности. Норма чтения и перевода – 900 печатных знаков для письменного перевода или 1200 печатных знаков для устного перевода в час.

Темы для беседы на экзамене.

Устный ответ предполагает:

· умение рассказать о себе (возраст, работа, семья, увлечения)

· монологическое высказывание в объеме 12-15 предложений по темам, указанным в задании №7

Grammar

Для того чтобы правильно выполнить контрольную работу No 2, необходимо усвоить следующие разделы курса грамматики английского языка:

Task 6. Read and translate the texts

 

Text 1

Planning

The first of the managerial functions is planning. In this step the manager will create a detailed action plan aimed at some organizational goal.

For example, let's say Melissa the marketing manager has a goal of increasing sales during the month of February. Melissa needs to first spend time mapping out the necessary steps she and her team of sales representatives must take so that they can increase sales numbers. These steps might include things like increasing advertisements in a particular region, placing some items on sale, increasing the amount of required customer-to-sales rep contact, or contacting prior customers to see if they are interested in purchasing additional products. The steps are then organized into a logical pattern so that Melissa and her team can follow them.

Planning is an ongoing step and can be highly specialized based on organizational goals, division goals, departmental goals, and team goals. It is up to the manager to recognize which goals need to be planned within his or her individual area.

Organizing

The second of the managerial functions is organizing. This step requires Melissa to determine how she will distribute resources and organize her employees according to the plan. Melissa will need to identify different roles and ensure that she assigns the right amount of employees to carry out her plan. She will also need to delegate authority, assign work, and provide direction so that her team of sales representatives can work towards higher sales numbers without having barriers in their way.

Leading

The third function of management is leading. In this step, Melissa spends time connecting with her employees on an interpersonal level. This goes beyond simply managing tasks; rather, it involves communicating, motivating, inspiring, and encouraging employees towards a higher level of productivity. Not all managers are leaders. An employee will follow the directions of a manager because they have to, but an employee will voluntarily follow the directions of a leader because they believe in who he or she is as a person, what he or she stands for, and for the manner in which they are inspired by the leader.

Controlling

Controlling is the final function of management. Once a plan has been carried out the manager evaluates the results against the goals. If a goal is not being met, the manager must also take any necessary corrective actions to continue to work towards that goal.

Banks and Banking

A bank is a company that works with the money that the people give it. If you give your money to a bank, it not only protects it but pays you interest so that it can work with the money. This is one of the reasons why people save their money in a bank. Money may also be safer there than at home.

Banks also lend money to other businesses and customers. They collect extra money called banking fees with which they pay interest to savers as well as salaries for their workers. Banks make a profit because they collect more interest than they pay to savers.

Without banks the world’s economy would not be able to grow. Investors would not find the money they need for new projects. Industries could not buy new machines and modern technology.

Types of banks

Commercial banks are the most important banks. They offer many services, different forms of accounts and also loans. While, at first, commercial banks only offered its services to businesses and companies, they are for everyone today.

Investment banks do not take or keep the money of individuals. They help organizations and large companies raise money on the international financial markets.

Central banks manage the banking system in a country. The Federal Reserve in the United States and Bank of England are two prominent banks that take over these tasks. The European Central Bank is responsible for the circulation of money in the Euro zone.

Online banks can often give their customers more interest because they do not have the expenses that physical banks do. They can be accessed over the internet and are becoming more and more popular.

Savings and loans are banks that specialize in financing houses. Although interest rates are higher such banks offer up to 30-year mortgages. Customers pay back their loan through a monthly payment that they can afford.

Development banks are financial organizations that help Third World Countries. They not only provide money for nations in Africa, Asia and South America, but also send aid workers and offer technical help.
