About myself

Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Maxim. My surname is Denisov. I am seventeen. I was born on the ninth of March 1999 in Ufa-city, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. Twelve years ago our family moved to Langepas – a small, beautiful and cosy town, situated in the north of our country. My home address is: Gagarin street 117, flat 35. My mobile phone number is: 89175726033.

In 2016 I finished lyceum № 1 in Langepas. I did well in all the subjects but my favourite subjects at school were Physics and Computer Science. I liked English lessons too. I’m interested in learning English, because I’m sure that the knowledge of foreign languages will help me in my future life and career. Last summer I travelled around Europe. I visited Great Britain and France. The knowledge of English helped me a lot there.

Now I am studying at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University – one of the largest and most prestigious institutions not only in Bashkortostan, but in Russia too. I’m an extra-mural first-year student of the Automation department. I’m very glad to study here, because this university gives a solid background in all spheres of knowledge and prepares for practical work.

Some words about my appearance and character. I’m rather tall and slender; I have got brown eyes and fair hair. I think I’m communicative, responsible, hard-working and friendly. I suppose I am quite a sporty person. I play football twice a week. Also I spend much of my time swimming, because that’s what I love most. I’m learning to play the guitar too, though I’m still not very good at it. Unfortunately, I haven’t got much free time, as I’m very busy with my studies.

I’d like to tell you about our family. There are four of us: my father, mother, younger sister and me. My Dad’s name is Vladimir Olegovich. He is 45. He is an engineer. My Dad is tall, clever, good-natured and what is more important – he is a loving father. Also he has a good sense of humour. My Mum’s name is Natalya Petrovna. She is 43. She is a doctor. My Mum is the heart of our family. She is pretty, kind, loving and caring. I have got good relationships with my parents. They are always interested in what I do, give me advice which I try to follow. I love my family very much, especially my younger sister. Her name is Nastya, she is three years old and she is so funny and cute! The atmosphere in our family is warm, friendly and happy.

In future I want to graduate from the university successfully, get a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, become a good specialist, find an interesting and well-paid job, start my own family, help my parents and travel around the world.
