b) Work in two teams

Team A   Geologists and oilmen want to cut down a beautiful forest near your place to discover a new oil field. Oil is so necessary for the needs of the country. A lot of trees are going to be cut down and new industrial facilities are going to be constructed. A new town is going to be built.

Team B   Local people are against it. They do not want high-tech achievements to disturb their life. They want to preserve the forest where they can pick up berries and mushrooms, fish and hunt there.

Both teams should think and discuss the problems related to a new oil field construction and give the solutions to the problems. Come to a mutual agreement.
