Вимагається: знання лексики в межах тем, що розглядалися протягом семестру, вміння вести монологічне та діалогічне мовлення в межах вивчених тем, вільне володіння та практичне застосування граматичних тем “Tenses (Active Voice). Questions. Answers”, “Noun. Articles. Determiners. Pronouns. Ways of expressing quantity”, “Adjective. Adverb”.

Послідовність тем узгоджено з планом кафедри.

Іспит проходить в усній формі і передбачає вільне говоріння в межах визначених розмовних тем, знання лексики в межах тем, що вивчались протягом І та ІІ семестрів, вільне володіння та практичне застосування граматичного матеріалу, який розглядався протягом двох семестрів.

Послідовність тем узгоджено з планом кафедри.

УМОВИ НЕ ДОПУСКУ ДО ЗАЛІКУ АБО ІСПИТУ

Студент не допускається до здачі заліку або іспиту з англійської мови за умови, якщо його робота в семестрі оцінюється нижче 42 балів. Максимальна кількість балів, що можливо отримати за роботу в семестрі, складає 75 балів.

“Програма курсу з англійської мови за професійним спрямуванням” розрахована на 36 годин в 2Д семестрі; 52 години в III семестрі; 52 години в IV семестрі; 36 годин в 4Д семестрі.

Програма орієнтована на розвиток спеціалізованих мовних навичок та вмінь фахового спрямування та вироблення комунікативної компетенції студентів на рівні, що умовно називається “вищесередній” (“upper-intermediate”) на основі активізації та розвитку чотирьох основних навичок (skills), необхідних для успішного спілкування, а саме:

♦ сприйняття на слух та розуміння мови загального та фахового спрямування;

♦ усне мовлення з урахуванням спеціалізованої лексики;

♦ розвиток академічного письма різних типів;

♦ володіння ефективними методами читання та аналізу загальних англійських текстів та професійних текстів.

З цією метою “Програма курсу з англійської мови за професійним спрямуванням” починається з вступного курсу до спеціальності, який консолідує набуті навички, вміння та знання програми курсу “General English” та готує студентів до поглибленого розвитку академічних навичок, а саме: summary writing, note-taking, essay structure, listening for gist, listening for details, analytical reading of special texts.
