How did you celebrate last Christmas?

Last Christmas I celebrated with my family at home. We cooked a lot of tasty dishes with meat, vegetables, fruits. Also we congratulated each other with pleasure words and presents.

Where would you like to spend the best New Year holidays in your life? Why?

I would like to spend my best New Year holidays in NY. It is my dream and I want to visit this city at Christmas time, because I like Americans’ traditions at Christmas Day.

 

What two school subjects are the most important for your future job?

The most important school subjects for my future job are Chemistry and Biology. I am interested in these subjects, because I like learning about people's health.

What job would you like to have in the future?

I would like to be a doctor. I want to help people to save their lives and to be more healthier in the future.

Do your relatives approve of your career choice?

Yes, my parents and relatives support me. They know that if I want to achieve something I will do it best.

What job did you use to like when you were younger?

When I was younger I used to be a teacher. I liked to communicate with different people since childhood.

Would you like to follow in your parents’ footsteps in choosing a career? Why?

I wouldn't like to follow my parents’ footsteps in choosing a career, because I have my own way. And I choose a career which I enjoy. Also I am glad that my parents support me.

 

What part of Russia do you live in? What’s the weather like in summer there?

I live in Moscow. It's central part of Russia. It's a very beautiful city. The weather is normal in summer in Moscow. It's usually warm and sunny.

What else would you like our listeners to know about your region?

I would like our listeners to know that there are a lot of museums, galleries and theatres in my region. Also Moscow has smart transport system such as undergroung, comfortable buses and others.

What can you tell us about your family?

My family includes 3 members. It is my mother, my father and me. We live in a big light flat. We prefer spending time together at the weekends.

How did you use to spend your summer holidays when you were seven?

When I was 7, I used to go to my grandparent's village in summer holidays. I swam a lot, went to forests. ALso my grandmother taught me to cook tasty dishes.

How would you like to spend your summer holidays in 10 years?

I would like to spend my summer holidays in the Carribian sea in 10 years. I believe that I will have well-paid job and I will have oportunity to go there.

 

How do you use English in your daily life?

In my daily life I speak English when I travel around the world. Also in English I talk to my brother from the USA every week.

Do your relatives know English well?

No, my relatives don't know English well, because they didn't learn it at school earlier. Some of them want to learn Chinese, but I say them that it's difficult. but it's possible.

Should public schools put more emphasis on the English language? Why?

In my opinion, public schools should put more emphasis on the English language, because nowadays everyone needs to know English well. It gives opportunity to get a well-paid job, to talk to native speakers and to travel more.

How does English help people in different countries?

English helps people to understand native citizens and gives opportunity to ask some questions in different countries. A person can be calm if he or she knows English, because almost everyone knows English in each country.

In your opinion, will another language take over the English’s role of an international language?

I consider that Chinese language will take over the English’s role of an international language in the future. I think so, because international relationship with China is developing now actively.
