Student A: - The hotel is in the centre of London. I’ll take you for a drive around the city. The car is at the hotel entrance.

Student B: - Fine. The City looks different in daytime, doesn’t it? What is that beautiful huge building?

Student A: - It is St. Paul’s Cathedral. It is the second biggest Cathedral in the world.

Student B: - Who designed it?

Student A: - Christopher wren did.

Student B: - I think it’s Westminster Abbey, isn’t it? What is it famous for?

Student A: - You are right. It’s an important place. Many of the kings and queens were crowned in it and many outstanding people were buried here.

Student B: - I see.

Student A: - These are the Houses of Parliament.

Student B: - Do the Houses of Parliament consist of one or more buildings?

Student A: - There is only one building, but it is called “The Houses” because it is divided into two chambers – The House of Commons and The House of Lords.
