A methodical activity has not been fully investigated and is not described as an independent type of professional work of the teacher. In pedagogical literature, there are three points of view on methodological work.

According to the first view, methodical activity is reduced to methodical work related to self-education teacher, working with didactic means, advanced training in the subject region. Other - is that attributed to methodological activities related to teaching a particular subject. In this case, the authors do not see the specifics of methodological and educational activities but the object, and the term "methodological activities", "training activity" are used as synonyms.

The researchers, who hold a third point, viewed the methodical work as a collection of relatively independent skills with clear characteristics in common educational activities.

Teacher’s practitioners are aware of the specifics and importance of the methodical work of the teacher. According to the meaning it holds in third place after the teaching of subject and education (nurture). We consider the methodical work as independent professional engineer-teacher duration. With all the variety of teaching methods, differentiation, diversity of content learning different subjects in different educational systems existing general theoretical basis of performance, the overall structure of this type of professional activity of the teacher, the basic procedures for implementation of teaching materials.

The purpose of methodological activities -service training practices.

Functions methodical activities:

• Analytical;

• Designing, associated with long-term planning and development of training content, planning and preparation of learning activities;

• Constructive including a system of actions related to the planning of the upcoming lessons (selection, composition design educational information), the presentation of forms of presentation of educational material, leading to the interaction of the teacher and students in the process of formation of new knowledge and professional skills;

• normative definition and development of training tools, to facilitate implementation of educational standards, curriculum requirements, conditions of the educational process in this type of educational institution;

• Research.

Methodical activity of the teacher cannot be observed directly. Analysis, observation lends itself to teacher training activities. Methodical activities, techniques and methods of its implementation - is a complex thought process. In order to share the teaching process and its software: the methodical, logistical or organizational, need to determine the differences in their subject of activity.

The object of methodical work of the teacher is the process of formation of knowledge, skills and experience (KSE).

Subject methodical activity consists of different techniques and methods, methods of implementation and regulation of the process of formation of new knowledge and skills, taking into account the specificity of the content of a particular subject. This activity is manifested indirectly through methodical products created in the course of methodical design and constructing.

The subjects of methodical activity are teacher or collective of teachers. The experience of the teacher - innovator associated with a particular methodical procedure, which is designed and successfully incorporated into his own methodical system. Higher forms of presentation methodical creativity in teaching practice are its generalization in various publications; open their own schools, teacher’s workshops, and protection of scientific work on the study's own scientific and methodical system.

The results (products) of methodical activities are systematically reprocessed, selected educational material in various forms of presentation; algorithms for solving problems; workbook sheets; techniques, training methods; methodical maintenance of discipline; learning programs; Educational programs, etc. students use Products of methodical activity in the classroom.

Under the methodical work to be understood independent type of professional work of the teacher on the design, development and constructing, study of learning tools that allow the regulation of teaching and learning activities for individual subjects or disciplines cycle.
