Додаток 4

I. The note about the list of the main rights, which are read by the policeman in the case of the keeping of the person because of suspicion in making him a crime in the very place of the keeping.

You are detained because you are suspected of committing a crime. According to the Constitution of Ukraine and to the existing law you have the right to defend yourself. You are free in the choice of the defender, you have the right for meeting with him before the first interrogation. You have the right in any time to protest in the court your detention, to demand the checking by the court or by the lawer the legality of your detention.

You have the right to know in what you are suspected in, to give the proves, to declare your solicitation and disapprovals. You have the right to give the testimony or to refuse to give them.
